LABS EXPO, as the largest laboratory equipment fair in Poland, originated from the need to provide a platform for professionals in the laboratory and scientific research sectors to connect, share knowledge, and showcase innovations. Events like these are crucial for fostering collaboration between manufacturers, distributors, researchers, and end-users in the laboratory equipment field. We responded to the need to create a unique event where industry stakeholders could gather to discuss the latest trends, technologies, and regulatory changes affecting the sector.
How do you select exhibitors for LABS EXPO? Are there specific criteria that companies need to meet to participate in the fair?
Exhibitors should offer products, services, or technologies that are directly related to the laboratory and scientific community. We warmly invite manufacturers and distributors whose offerings include the following to showcase their products and join the ranks of Exhibitors: furniture and equipment for laboratories, small laboratory equipment, accessories, laboratory glassware, analytical, control and measurement apparatus, optical equipment, IT systems supporting laboratory operations, technological innovations, scales, protective clothing, hygiene and protective products, diagnostic equipment, apparatus and reagents for biochemical, analytical, immunochemical, microbiological tests, scientific institutes and research centres, certification bodies
In addition to the exhibition, LABS EXPO offers a variety of conferences and seminars. What topics will be covered, and who are the key speakers for this year’s lectures?
We are working on a substantive program that will diversify the exhibition. During the 3rd edition, conferences and seminars related to laboratory accreditation, green technologies and laboratory diagnostics are planned.

The LABS EXPO fair is the most important meeting of the laboratory industry and an excellent opportunity to exchange views and experiences, establish new contacts and take part in numerous conferences and workshops. Visitors can participate in workshops, panel discussions, and presentations to enhance their knowledge and skills. Additionally, the expo serves as a marketplace where professionals can source new products and services, gather market intelligence, and identify potential suppliers or clients.
Are there any new features or surprises we can expect at this year’s LABS EXPO? Are there any special events within the fair that you would like to highlight?
Every year there are new exhibitors, so nest year we expect new exhibitors at the fair, and therefore a wider offer for our visitors. The laboratory market is constantly developing, so we definitely expect new products at the fair. Presentations organized by exhibitors always arouse great interest. Many of them organize practical demonstrations using professional equipment.
The COVID-19 pandemic significantly impacted the laboratory equipment industry. How has it shaped the development of the fair, and how is the sector adapting to new challenges?
In my opinion, the laboratory equipment industry has not only adapted to the immediate challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic but has also found ways to innovate and evolve in response to new market demands. The necessity of rapid innovation has encouraged partnerships between academic institutions, industry players, and government agencies to accelerate research and product development. However, organizing the fair after the pandemic was a big challenge, due to many restrictions.
